Baby Girl

Introducing Shayne Michelle Papit.

We got to see our beautiful baby girl a few weeks ago. Gavin got to pick out how we are going to spell her name so I have been waiting to post it.

I can not explain the joy of having a baby. I get to feel her kick all the time. I am starting to know what food she really likes. (mostly chocolate, vinegar, cucumbers, peanut butter and oatmeal) She is already a wonderful gift from God. Gavin and I always wanted a big family. I think the numbers are starting to decrease after we are actually having our kids. But it just melts my heart to see God work in our family. I love being a mom more than anything in the world. Dalton is going to be a great big brother. I do worry about him not having all the focus and having to share his toys, parents and I pray he adjust well to his new sister.

She is already measuring big :). No surprise there, after Dalton I just expect to have big babies. The doctor is planning on me having a c-section. After all the complications with Dalton's birth, we discuss my growth and her growth at each appointment, and are trying to avoid the same issues we had before. That being said I am nervous about a c-section, it will be a long recovery and a longer time in the hospital. Family is coming in town to help out, so that is a true blessing. I just hate thinking I will be away from Dalton that long and when I come home I will have a new baby and probably won't be able to move much.

A few prayer request: my health as my pregnancy continues, that baby shayne will go strong and healthy, dalton's adjustment to everything, financial stresses of adding another child and that we follow the Lord in all we do (the biggest joy of having a family is letting God guide every step we take)
