Art time

I follow a preschool art blog and she recommended this idea. You let the child draw with markers and then let them use a paintbrush with water. He ended up dumping the water everywhere but it still kept him busy for a while.

Feeding the ducks

Sharon took Dalton and Karis to feed the ducks and play on the playground. I know I have said it before but I am so thankful for friends. Dalton is use to going to the park every other day and I can't take him anymore.

He loved this scooter that a boy brought to the park.

He actually shared his paci with his baby. I never thought that would happen!

Haircut!

Noodles

I let Dalton fill up the pot today with noodles so he could be a helper. He had a 1/2 cup measuring cup and scooped the noodles out of the bag and into the pot. It took a long time but he was so proud! I need to let him help more often.

While the noodles were cooking he sat and stirred this bowl of noddles! It kept him busy and was a different texture he isn't use to. He had to make sure he didn't lose a noodle. He even cleaned up after he was done playing. I love my little boy so much!

After a long day with Gavin at work Dalton got to go on a bike ride before bed. He was so happy!!

This morning eating yogurt. I hardly get to take pictures lately. I have been so blessed with Dalton having friends coming over to help with him or take him to their house while I'm on bedrest.

It was really hot this afternoon so he just sat in his chair and relaxed.

He played with the hose for almost 2 hours yesterday. (I did turn it down to barely any water coming out) it was great entertainment and I got to lay outside and watch my boy discover new things.

Dalton got to play with glue today! Wasn't sure what he would do but he had a great time.

It takes Dalton a good thirty minutes to wake up from nap.

He went inside for 10 minutes and then came back out and jumped in his pool with a shirt and diaper. He cracks me up!

We were going inside and I made Dalton take his shirt off because it was wet and he proceeded to grab it and dunk it in his water table. Apparently it could be wetter. But it kept him busy for a little but longer and that's all I can ask for nowadays.

Anything to keep him busy. I unfolded a granola bar box and let him color that and a Kleenex box, he was getting tired of just coloring on paper.

Reading this just reminds me that God had a plan for shayne before she was even in my belly. God knows what he is doing and I need to remember that daily. It may be hard the next few months but it is well worth it and God won't give me anything I can't handle. Thank you Lord for this addition to our family.

30 weeks

Almost there!! (kinda) I am on bed rest and a few other things to help with the pain I am having during this pregnancy. I still have 10 weeks :) but praise the Lord for my ridgeline family. I would not survive without them. They have generously signed up to help with Dalton and bring meals. With our family so far away it is great to see what god does with the people around you. I am simply blown away by everyone's willingness to help.

Dalton took almost a two hour nap on the beach. It was so sweet he just laid on the towel and crashed.
