Beach day!

We had our family day at oceanside today. Dalton had been asking to go back to the beach since we went with my parents. So we decided to go today on Gavin's day off. It was shayne's second time to go. She wasn't a huge fan, but dalton had a blast.

Today we played outside and dalton tipped every tractor, car, lawn mower he could find. Shayne hung out the swing and watched D play. Then shayne is learning great head control with tummy time. Then snuggle time!

Siblings

I can't wait for Shayne to get a little older to play with dalton. He loves her so much and gets excited for them to just sit next to each other. Another great day being a mom to these two.

All by myself :)

My parents went back home today. I had the two kids by myself while Gavin is at work. Dalton and I have played outside, watched Sid the science kid, and built this Papit racetrack.

Thanksgiving

We hosted our first thanksgiving! Nothing turned out too terrible :) the green beans were cold and the sweet potatoes were a little runny but all around a great meal!! I am so glad my family came to spend the week with us.
Yesterday morning we had my friend rica take family photos so I could get pictures of my kiddos and there grandparents. I will post those when I get them.

Grandmommy is here!!! She got to meet Shayne and she is spending thanksgiving with us. I am do glad she made the trip out here. I know it was a big deal, she doesn't like to fly but did a great job!

First dentist appointment

Dalton had his first dentist appointment today! He was really good but wouldn't let them look in his mouth.... So he didn't cry or scream but said no every time they tried to look or take a picture. The dentist said it is just good to get him use to coming so hopefully he will get better each time we go. And best of all he didn't get upset about him using a pacifier! They said its so much better than him falling asleep with a bottle.

One month old!

Time is flown by! I can not believe she is one month old already. She is such a good baby. I think the Lord knew what we could handle right now, with all the changes with the church and wondering where He is going to call us next. It is a blessing she has a mild temperament.  Last night was one of the hardest and she  only woke up 4 times. She has been only having to wake up once a night and she is only a few weeks!! We went to the doctor when she was 3 weeks and she was 10.5 lbs and 21 inches long. I think she has gained more. I love every single thing about her and am so thankful God put her in our lives.
