Family time :)

11 months

Another month.... I still can't believe it. So much has happened this month it is crazy!

he is crawling!!! I am excited and very tired :)
stands and walks around the couch and ottoman
taken a few steps by himself
weighs almost 31 lbs around 31 inches long
says yum yum, mama, dada, baba, nene, yaya, ba (ball)
at least 8 teeth.. more come everyday and he won't let you look that often
went through a biting phase for almost 2 weeks but is doing much better now
crawling up the stairs
wears 24 month and 2T clothes
sleeps through the night except when teething..
is still a sleep snob will only sleep in his crib
had strep throat
loves to be read to he will shake his head no when you finish a book and hand it back to you to read it again
I am sure there is more but that is all I can think of now.

numbers

So I saw this idea on this blog
and I thought I would try. I had my mom's sewing machine for 1-5 and then sewed 6-0 by hand.. you can totally tell :). It was still fun and gave me something to do at night once Dalton was asleep and Gavin was at school. Dalton doesn't really know what they are but hopefully he will learn his numbers soon and this will help.

Crawling

Dalton has been able to scoot around but yesterday he took off! We were skyping with my mom his Nana and he crawled straight to her from across the room!! After that we were in trouble. He has been crawling everywhere it is so cute. I know my days have completely changed now but it is fun to see him move!!

Strep

My poor little man has Strep Throat. He woke up 2 days ago with a high fever so I took him in to the doctor. I didn't have any symptoms yet but the fever. So I did feel kinda silly going to the doctor but the 102 fever made me nervous. He had woken up in the middle of the night with a 100.9 fever but I thought it was teething because he played for an hour. But I am so glad I did take him in because she checked him all over and saw his throat was bright red. I had no idea he wasn't complaining about it. After the doctor visit he had a hard time drinking his milk and swallowing his food. His fever did break that evening but is still on an antibiotic for 10 days. It is so sad to see him sick. So far he has had croup, upper respiratory infection several times, bronchitis, and strep throat. He is only 10 months old.. poor thing. When he was born he wasn't breathihng and had a hard delivery so his lungs are weak. So hopefully next year he will be better and his immune system will be bulit up.

toothbrush

Dalton loves to brush his teeth! He has six teeth and I have been brushing them since he had only one. So he has the hang of it :)

Babysitting

I get to watch sweet baby graham once a week and here are some pictures from this week! He is such a good baby and Dalton is so sweet to him most of the time. Dalton did try to steal his Graham's pacifier when he was sleeping.

Pool Time with Abi

We went to the Haugh's house tonight for dinner and cake. Dalton got to play in the pool with Abi and loved it!! He would of stayed in there all night if I would have let him. He just splashed and splashed. He was scared of the pretend duck :)
