Grandaddy Great

I am so sorry I haven't posted in a while. My grandaddy, Dalton's Grandaddy Great passed away on the 17th. He was an incredible kind, funny, Godly man. Dalton did get to meet him this past Christmas. Great sang to Dalton and even got to snuggle with him. I am honored to have Clue Hammons as my Grandaddy. We were able to fly to Tulsa to be with my family, thanks to friends and family.

I am one of those moms.... I took Dalton to Walmart today to get diapers, food, etc. and I took him down the toy isle. I was looking for a little toy piano because we have one in the church nursery and he loves it. I have tried second hand stores and Ross but hadn't found one yet. There it was sitting on the toy shelf in Walmart. I showed Dalton the piano and let him hit it a few times. It was a little more expensive than I wanted to pay so I put it back on the shelf. Dalton did not think this was a good idea. He threw a fit!!! He screamed! I walked away determined not to get it.. until I was in the next isle. I turned around, got it off the shelf and his face lit up! He played on the piano the entire time I shopped. He even got mad when I had to take it away from him to check out. He is 7 months old, I did not know I would have to deal with this so early. Next time I am not going to show him the toy.

Singing with Grammy

Arlie got to come visit for a few days this week and Dalton loved singing with her!

Grammy Visit!!

Arlie got to come visit for a long weekend and it was so much fun. Dalton loved every minute. He sang for her and played his drum. He would mimic her when she would sing. I am so glad she is involved in his life!

Croup....

So we went to the doctor yesterday morning because Dalton was wheezing with every breath, a little scary. Anyways I had called first because I was just going to leave a message for the doctor but she just told me to bring him in. When we got there 5 nurses were waiting to see him. I walked in and they were like there's Dalton, can I hold him, he is so big.... It was pretty cute. We did find out he weighs 27 lbs. I thought he was suppose to be slowing down. All this to say he does have croup. He is on steroids for 5 days and should recover fast. Arlie came in town yesterday too so she will be here to help with little man.
